Welcome to the West Virginia Center for Nursing. The Center's Board of Directors and Staff hope you will find this site user friendly and informative. Our intention is to provide you with access to information about nursing as a career, nursing organizations, healthcare agencies, partnerships formed with the Center, and financial opportunities to name a few. Please take the time to see what we have to offer the person contemplating nursing as a career, the new graduate, the seasoned nurse, and those just interested in what we are all about. West Virginia University Charleston Division School for Nursing presents Essential Clinical Skills for the Advanced Practice Nurse on Friday, July 23rd and Saturday, July 24th.- The West Virginia Center for nursing is proud to provide you with an opportunity to nominate nurses in your organizations for the 3rd annual “Celebrating Nursing Excellence Awards.” This is an annual event to honor 50 of the states nurses for excellence in providing care to our West Virginia residents. This year the gala will be held at the Waterfront Hotel in Morgantown, WV on Saturday, September 25th. Nomination information is located on the Recruitment tab.
